Listen: Steve Mason – Boys Outside

Steve Mason

Ex-lead singer of The Beta Band, Steve Mason has struggled with depression all of his life due to being a perfectionist. Many people will relate to that feeling and how often the harshest critic you’ll ever meet will be yourself. After the Black Affair album which I thought was pretty good (but not as good as The Beta Band) Steve has recorded his solo debut singing about many of the issues he’s had to deal with in his life. This is most definitely a return to form.

You can read all about Steve’s experiences with depression by clicking here.

The Moons

Those of you who know me will remember a few years ago I booked a load of gigs for a band called The High
Drivers. The original idea of setting up a record label for me was to release a single by them. Unfortunately
they split up and later became The On-Offs and signed a major deal. Read more »
